‘Lessons from Digital Spaces: Inclusion and Support for Student Success’.

The Centre for Access, Participation and Success at The Open University is pleased to invite you to our latest sector-wide free seminar: ‘Lessons from Digital Spaces: Inclusion and Support for Student Success’. The seminar will run from 9:30-13:00 on Wednesday 25 May 2022 via MS Teams.

Register for the event using this Eventbrite link.

Our seminar will open with featured articles from a special edition of the Journal of Widening Participation and Lifelong Learning entitled ‘Lessons from Digital Spaces: Opportunities and Challenges for Widening Participation Through Online Learning’. The special edition focuses on Online Education and is timed to come out with the seminar.  We then move to Digital Inclusion, providing a link between the two, with spotlight presentations from leading experts. There will be interactive elements and the sharing of resources.

We are working hard to finalise our agenda for the day, and will share this via a seminar website in early April. Joining instructions will be sent via email using this mailbox Access-Participation-Success@open.ac.uk by close of play on Monday 23 May 2022.
