UALL 2018 Annual Conference

Downing College, Cambridge – 21st – 23rd March

Opportunities for Lifelong Learning in a Changing World

It is almost upon us and we hope you are as excited for the conference as we are!

This is a warning that the final deadline to book is Monday 12th March.

If you haven’t booked onto this event, then please click on the link below.

This year’s conference is shaping up to be our best yet, we are honoured to have two keynote speakers this year.

On Thursday 22nd March; Ms Nicola Dandridge, CEO of the new Office for Students will reflect on the priorities of the Office for Students as the full launch for OfS in April draws closer.  This is an exciting time for Higher Education with the Office for Students launching in April 2018 and a new minister of Higher Education being appointed.

We hope that having Nicola present at the conference to allow the opportunity for our delegates to question what the Office for Students will mean for them.

Then on Friday 23rd; we will be hearing from Mr Sten Tiedemann, Rector of Folkeuniversitetet Aarhus, Herning and Emdrup who will discuss how the role of the ‘People’s University’ and lifelong learning in general evolved in Denmark, discussing how they have transformed in a changing world.

Alongside our keynotes we have a wide range of workshop presentations from presenters across the field, discussing on a variety of topics. As I said, it is shaping up to be an informative and enjoyable conference.
