Professor K L Oglesby OBE

We are delighted that Professor Leni Oglesby has been awarded the OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Leni has worked in university adult education for many years, and also for HEFCE. She has held various senior positions in UALL: Honorary Secretary from 2003 to 2008, and now as a Trustee of the Association. She was Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor, University of Teesside until her retirement. Among Leni's other roles she now has a consultative role for HEFCW. The citation reads: Professor Katherine Leni Oglesby. Member, Higher Education Funding Council for Wales and Member, Higher Education Funding Council for England. For services to Higher Education.
