UALL WPLL Journal now available

We are very pleased to announce the publication of the UALL (Universities Association for Lifelong Learning) special edition of the journal Widening Participation and Lifelong Learning.

The papers for this edition arise from the 2018 UALL Annual Conference in Downing College, Cambridge.  The papers were selected both for their contribution to the literature of lifelong learning and for their reflection of the Conference’s thematic strands.  They demonstrate the breadth of interest in the field and the continuing energetic commitment to researching adult learning.

The interesting and informative editorial by Bill Jones and John Butcher, highlights the UALL Conference as a platform for research and practice presentations by the higher education (HE) lifelong learning community around the UK as well as from Europe and North America.  This edition includes six research articles, one discussion piece and one book review and you may find of interest below, an essence of the included papers as highlighted in the editorial.

Papers from the 2019 Conference are eligible for submission to future special issues of the journal
