Public Engagement
UALL has been in discussions with the National Coordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE), on the subject of projects and provision which directly contribute to university public engagement. Lifelong learning is one of the main areas of a university where such engagement is likely to be found - therefore what evidence does UALL have to show the strength of public engagement? We studied the papers submitted to recent UALL Annual Conferences and found a substantial number of these included case studies of public engagement of many kinds. These will make a significant contribution to the assessment and promotion of public engagement. The case studies can be found on the UALL website at: http://www.uall.ac.uk/public-engagement
