Sir David Watson - UALL Chair 1994 to 1998

We note with great sadness the death of David Watson, who, among his many contributions to the sector, was our Chair from 1994 to 1998. He guided UALL with his customary wisdom and good nature, and was very dedicated to the Association despite his many other commitments. He always had time and willingness to listen to and advise our members. His contributions to our activities were many and varied, from serious policy interventions to leading the UALL 'big band' at the Annual Conference. We extend our sympathies to David's family, friends and colleagues.
