Universities call for change to proposed age limit on postgraduate loans
A report from several Russell group universities is calling for relaxation of an age-30 limit on postgraduate loans, after revealing that over 20% of postgraduates from non-traditional backgrounds are over 30. Students from disadvantaged backgrounds are more likely to delay postgraduate study for a number of reasons, including graduate debt causing reluctance for further borrowing.
